OMNI 3750 Operators Guide for ARC


The following describes how to perform a transaction using a Verifone Omni 3750. Use the PROMPTS / YOUR INPUT prompts as
a guide as to what you should enter. Your terminal can do 3 functions SALE, VOID, and BATCH

PROMPTS

YOUR INPUT

CREDIT
GLOBAL CHECK

Press the F key next to GLOBAL CHECK. On the following menu press CONVERSION. If GLOBAL CHECK is not on the Menu press the * button until it appears.

SCAN CHECK

Run check through reader. Check goes in left hand slot with the face of the check facing right. Check reader light should blink on & off. If it turns red try again.

AMOUNT OF SALE

Enter the amount of the check. Each check of the ARC series must be for a similar amount If 4 checks and the total is 400.00, each of the four should be 100.00.

NUMBER OF CHECKS

Check Dated Today
Enter the total number of checks to be run through.
Future Dated Checks
Just press enter.

DRIVERS LICENSE

Check Dated Today
Swipe the drivers license through the terminal. If the License does not have a magnetic stripe key in the number. If there are letters press the number key that has the letter and then press the ALPHA key to convert the number to the letter.
Future Dated Check
Enter the date the check is to be converted in the format mmddyyyy, no dashes or spaces.

ENTER STATE CODE

Check Dated Today
Enter the state code. Use the table below for the proper state code number. You may also use the 2 letter abreviation instead.
Future Dated Check
Enter ZERO ZERO for the state code.

RECEIPT SIGNED

Make sure receipt is filled out completely and signed for the down payment or first check. The receipts for the 2nd,3rd etc. checks will show the dates to be converted and do not need to be signed.

ALL OTHERS

If you received a response not listed here it may be an error. See the page labeled 'Error Definitions' for your terminal configuration.




A void may only be done the same day the transaction occurred.

Follow the same prompts as for a sale except on the global check menu select VOID







This is not required since we batch your transactions at midnight each day. It is provided for informational purposes.

From the Global Check menu select IMAGER and UPLOAD Once uploaded press the red X to get to the main menu and select REPORTS Press the key next to Batch Summary

Printing

The terminal will print a report that reflects up to the minute the batch total for the day.
