The following describes how to perform a
transaction using a Ingenico Elite terminal. Use the PROMPTS / YOUR INPUT
prompts
as a guide as to what you should enter. Depending on what
version of the program you have some prompts may not be
used or
may not be in this order. Your terminal can do 4 functions SALE,
VOID, and BATCH,

Enter DRIVERS LICENSE |
Enter the customer's drivers license. Use the blue ADMIN key to convert numbers to letters. Press the number first and then the ADMIN key to cycle through each of the 3 letters. |

Enter AMOUNT |
Enter the amount of the check. |

DIALING |
Terminal will dial out and print a receipt for the customer to sign. make sure to get the printed name and phone number on the receipt. The check can be returned to the customer. Keep the receipt for at least 3 months. |

Enter the Authorization code from the sale. It will be a 4 digit number followed by a letter |

Will comeback with either VOID ACCEPTED or VOID FAILED. If failed call 800-988-6221 and ask to have the sale voided. |
This
is not required since we batch your transactions at midnight each
day. It is provided for informational purposes.
